The MSE PRO™ Histamine is a reactive amine compound, one of the autoreactive substances distributed in the body with a variety of physiological activities, and an important mediator of allergic reactions. It is hygroscopic. It is easily deteriorated under sunlight. Soluble in water, ethanol and hot chloroform, slightly soluble in ether. As a chemotactic substance in the body, histamine can affect many cellular responses, including allergic and inflammatory reactions, as well as neurotransmission in the brain, which can cause effects such as drowsiness. The production process can be made by decarboxylating histidine.
