MSE PRO™ Litmus
The MSE PRO™ Litmus is an organic acid, obtained from lichens, that partially dissolves in water and ethanol and turns blue. When acid is added, the solution turns red, and when excess base is added, the solution turns blue again. It used to be a common indicator and is now rarely used. The range of color change is pH 5.0-8.0, from red to blue.
