MSE PRO Palladium Hydroxide on Carbon, Pd(OH)2/C (wetted with ca. 55% Water) is used as a catalyst for the hydrogenolysis of benzyl and epoxides. It is used to reduce nitro compounds to amines. It serves as a useful reagent for dehydrogenation as well as debenzylation.
