MSE PRO™ Potassium Iodide
The MSE PRO™ Potassium iodide, commonly known as gray iodine, is a water-soluble inorganic salt. It is odorless, has a salty, bitter taste, and is sensitive to air, light and moisture. Easily soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, methanol, acetone, glycerol and liquid ammonia, slightly soluble in ether. Free iodine is precipitated and becomes yellow, and can form trace iodate, light and moisture can accelerate decomposition, can dissolve iodine.
