Three-Dimensional Atom Probe Technology (APT) Analytical Service

From a three-dimensional perspective at the sub-nanometer scale, this technique reveals the distribution of all elements within a material. Addressing challenging measurement and analysis issues in materials research, the three-dimensional atom probe provides researchers with atomic-scale resolution and 3D compositional images of a material’s internal structure, with analytical sensitivity approaching one part per million. It is particularly suited for studying nanoscale structures (such as precipitates, clusters, GP zones) and various internal interfaces (grain boundaries, phase boundaries, interlayer interfaces in multilayer structures). This equipment enables the observation and study of elemental segregation behavior at interfaces, as well as the size, distribution, and composition of fine precipitates.
