This series 1×1, 1×2 fiber optical switch module integrates a USB/TTL/Manual Push Button driver, offering a convenient way to use or evaluate the best-performance fiber optical switches in the industry. It features exceptional attributes of nearly lossless; ultra-broad wavelength transmission that is limited only by the fiber; fast switching ~0.3ms, temperature/vibration insensitive, low cost, and is available in all fiber types, including single-mode, multimode, polarization maintaining, double cladding, and special fibers. The superior performance is achieved via a patented breakthrough MEMS technology in which fibers are self-aligned, and light propagates in a continuous medium without interruptions. The platform further offers high reliability, longevity, and cost-effectiveness for volume production. For single-mode fiber selection, please notice it has a cutoff wavelength below which the fiber no longer maintains SM. The SM fiber becomes lossy above a more extended wavelength threshold.
