Rods and fibers for fixing

We have special rods and fibers designed to simplify the filling of Mark tubes, the tips of which are used to guide the sample into the Mark tube. It is possible to guide fibers with a diameter of less than 0.1 mm into the smallest of Mark tubes. We generally use borosilicate glass 3.3 to make these kinds of rods. You will also receive fibers and rods made from the same type of glass material used for the Mark tubes.

Boiling and stirring rods

Boiling rods are excellent for mixing and homogenizing chemical and sample mixtures, and for preventing retardation when boiling or distilling in a beaker or Erlenmeyer flask. They are also ideal for stirring hot or boiling liquid. Made from high-quality soda-lime glass, they are reusable and perfectly suited to many applications. They are also available in borosilicate glass or quartz glass for special applications.
