Lead Fluoride (PbF2) Single Crystal
SKU: SU3103
Lead Fluoride - PbF₂ is a highly effective gamma-ray absorber as a result of its high density, fast decay time, and a high radiation hardness. These scintillator crystals are useful in diverse applications such as Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and specialty applications in high energy, nuclear, space and medical physics. PbF2 crystal substrates are available for purchase. Customized PbF2 crystals can be supplied by MSE Supplies based on customer's requirements.
For Research Use Only (RUO). Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
