Micro Combustion Calorimeter (MCC) Analytical Service
SKU: MCC001
Overview
A Micro Combustion Calorimeter (MCC) is an instrument used to measure the heat release rate of materials during controlled combustion. It evaluates the flammability and thermal behavior of small material samples by simulating combustion conditions in a micro-scale environment. Widely used in fire safety testing and materials research, the MCC provides critical data on the energy content and combustion properties of polymers, composites, and other materials
The MCC analytical service offers the following information:
a. Heat Release Rate
b. Peak Heat Release Rate
c. Total Heat Released
d. Temperature Corresponding to Maximum Heat Release Rate
Reservation Guidelines:
Sample Requirements: A minimum of 20 mg of solid sample is required. Highly volatile, explosive, or other hazardous samples are not accepted.
Test Start Temperature: The starting temperature of each test cannot be precisely controlled and may fluctuate within the range of 50–100℃.
Reference Test Standards: ASTM D7309-2007, EMC 89/336/EEC, LVD 72/23/EEC, BS EN 60204-1, BS EN 746-2.
