Yttria Stabilized Zirconia Powder, containing 13-14% Y2O3, is a commonly used and well characterized ceramic electrolyte. It serves as an electrolyte membrane in Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) stacks and as a component in composite cathodes or cermet anodes. With a low surface area and coarse particle size, it is ideal for controlling sintering shrinkage in YSZ electrolyte and/or anode layers in SOFCs.
