MSE PRO™ 3N5 (99.95%) Niobium (Nb) Pellets (2mm Dia. x 5-8mm L) Evaporation Materials

Niobium (Nb) is a light grey, crystalline and ductile transition metal. Evaporated Niobium thin film is used as metal-based transistors. Niobium coating is used to protect materials from oxidation at elevated temperature and also used to provide better biocompatibility for implantations.

The main use of niobium (about 75 percent) is in the production of high strength steel alloys used in pipelines, transportation infrastructure and structural applications. It is also used in various superconducting materials, welding, nuclear industries, electronics, optics, numismatics and jewelry.

The dimensions and purities can be customized upon request. Please contact us for customization or bulk orders.
