The MSE PRO™ Deoxyribonucleic Acid, Escherichia coli DNA, as a highly polymerized DNA, is an excellent substrate for deoxyribonuclease. DNA fragments were detected by agarose gel electrophoresis and prepared by restriction endonuclease digestion of purified λDNA using a solution of 1 mM EDTA in 10 mM Tris-HCl at pH 8.0. Supplied as a dried powder purified from E. coli type B cells.
