The MSE PRO™ Kanamycin sulfate is a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic derived from Streptomyces canadensis. It inhibits translocation or causes coding errors by binding to the 70 S ribosomal subunit. It is soluble in water and almost insoluble in common alcohols and apolar solvents.
