It achieves a tight bond between the sample and the embedding material by removing air from the sample and the cold embedding material, filling the gaps in the sample with liquid embedding material, and eliminating the gap between the sample and the embedding material. It provides excellent protection and support for the sample during grinding and polishing processes.
