The MSE PRO™ Micrococcus Lysodeikticus Cells, These are dry cell lysozymes suitable as lysozyme substrates that preferentially hydrolyze the β-1,4 glycosidic bonds between N-acetylcytidylic acid and N-acetylglucosamine, which occur in the mucopeptide cell wall structures of certain microorganisms, such as lysococci. It is also a source of polynucleotide phosphorylase.
