MSE PRO™ Mucin
The MSE PRO™ Mucins are a class of proteins composed mainly of mucopolysaccharides. It has a complex molecular composition and is widely distributed in different parts of the human body, including the intestines, stomach, lungs, eyes, and mouth. Mucins consist of three main structural domains, namely the N- and C-termini and the glycosylated proline, threonine and serine (PTS structural domains) central structural domains. Their protective effect is due to their high viscosity.

Applications:
