Solid State Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (SSNMR) is a spectral technique used to study solid substances. When the sample to be analyzed is difficult to dissolve or its properties change after dissolution, SSNMR can provide very important microstructure and molecular dynamics information, including chemical bonding mode, host-guest interaction, and molecular crystal structure in the sample.
The principle of solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance is to use the properties of the spin and magnetic moment of the atomic nucleus. Under the action of an external radio frequency pulse, the energy difference between the energy levels transitions, and resonant absorption occurs. By measuring the frequency and intensity of this resonant absorption, we can obtain information about the structure of the sample and the interaction between molecules.
