Water Activity Meter Analytical Service

Water activity refers to the ratio of the equilibrium vapor pressure of a substance in a closed space to the saturated vapor pressure of pure water at the same temperature.

Our water activity meter uses either the direct measurement method or the mirror condensation dew point method for testing. It accurately measures the water activity of substances by comparing the equilibrium vapor pressure of the food with the saturated vapor pressure of pure water, using standard curves and calibration techniques. This method has wide applications in food science and other industries.
